We are so excited to welcome you to our school! Below you will find our tour booking page & helpful information to get your family ready for your first day! Please, do not hesitate to reach out to us if you need anything!
When children start at a new school, it is a big change for the whole family. It is natural for your child to react strongly to new situations, surroundings, classmates, and new teachers. We understand that is it also quite natural for parents/guardians to worry about their child during this time. We want to make this transition as smooth as possible and for this we have created our “Smooth Start”. We want you to know that we are here for you and you can feel free to reach out to any of us with any questions or concerns!
Your child's journey at our school starts with their Initial Discussion. During this meeting, the teacher & parents/guardians go over the This Is Our Family form. Please, complete the form below & bring with you to the Initial Discussion that we will schedule alongside you prior to your child’s first day.
If your child is not yet toilet trained, do not worry! We are here to help when the time comes that your child is ready to start! Please, use our “Guide To Toilet Learning” to help you prepare for this transition in advance.
When you have time to help your child complete their Star of the Week poster and you can either bring it to school or email it your child’s teacher to print & have your child present it at morning circle time. You do not need to complete all the pages, just have the child pick the color background they prefer and complete that one.
If you will be bringing sunscreen and bug repellent for your child, please, complete the Sunscreen & Insect Repellent Permission form, if you would like us to apply these. You can then email it to us at admin@heifranklin.com
Please, review our Reunification Instructions in case of an unforeseen situation, such as a fire, flood, or tornado, requiring successfully reuniting you with your child.
